These above works of art are on display at the Oakland Museum in the California History exhibit. These particular pieces stood out to me, as I have a strong interest in political/protest art.

According to Liu, "The oil washes and drips that seep through my paintings contribute to a sense of loss while dissolving the historical authenticity of the photographs I paint from".
